The implosion of the traditional print media has left a void that will be difficult to fill. Although the big media outlets were largely liberal, at least they were predictable. Whatever replaces them will be much harder to get a handle on and that is worrisome.

The economy is in the crapper and the governor is out of the state.  I think it’s great to suppor the troops but it would be nice if they had jobs when they return home.

The Obama campaign bears a remarkable resemblance to a cult of personality.  A term coined by Karl Mark is a letter to a German political worker Wilhelm Bloss in a critique of the cult of the individual.

            I find it disturbing that the answer that Senator Obama gave to Joe the Plumber is remarkably similar to the following quote from Karl Marx.  Although Marx was not the originator of the phrase this is the most famous iteration of it.

More disturbing though is the reflexive tendency of the intelligentsia to attack the messenger, rather than the message.  It is an ad hominem argument, classic error in logic.

It is very depressing to witness the absolute lack of critical analysis regarding the Presidential election among the general electorate.

Dateline Florence jackhammers at 8:00 A.M. The utter lack of common courtesy is annoying.  I hope that guy contracts an STD.

The worst part about being an adult is buying stamps.  Despite all of the stuff you can do online the United States Postal Service has us over a barrel.  I only use stamps to pay one bill, my condo association fee.  Come on people welcome to the 21st century.

Besides that 41 cents to pay a bill that’s an insult.
